SECTION 28-42-46

   § 28-42-46  Maintenance of employmentoffices. – It shall be the duty of the director to administer a system of publicemployment offices for the purpose of assisting employers to secure employeesand workers to secure employment. The director is given full power to do andperform all things necessary to secure to this state the benefits provided bythe Wagner-Peyser Act, 29 U.S.C. § 49 et seq. All duties in connectionwith the federal act in relation to reemployment, including the establishmentand maintenance of a system of employment offices, shall be vested in thedirector, and the director shall establish and maintain any employment officesin any parts of this state that he or she deems necessary.
