SECTION 28-46-9

   § 28-46-9  Termination of employees. –For the purposes of this chapter, the employment of any employee terminatedwithin one year, or within any longer period as prescribed by the director whenhe or she determines that an employer is attempting to evade the provisions ofthis chapter, of the date an employer ceases to operate a place of employmentwithin this state shall be deemed to have been terminated because of theemployer's ceasing to operate its place of employment, unless the employer canconclusively show that the termination was attributable to some other cause.
