SECTION 28-47-12

   § 28-47-12  Premium taxes and assessments.– Each group self-insurer, except any group self-insurer composed of the state,municipal governments, governmental authorities of the state or municipalities,or quasi-municipal subdivisions of the state or municipalities, shall paypremium taxes as close as practicable on the same basis as insurers as providedin chapter 17 of title 44. Each group self-insurer shall pay assessments forthe workers' compensation administrative fund pursuant to chapter 37 of thistitle on the same basis as is practicable as an insurer.
