SECTION 28-48-8

   § 28-48-8  Civil penalty for violations.– Any employer who violates any provision of this chapter or of any order issuedpursuant to § 28-48-7 shall be subject to a civil penalty of not more thanone thousand dollars ($1,000). In the case of a continuing violation, eachday's continuance shall be deemed a separate and distinct offense.
