SECTION 28-48-9

   § 28-48-9  Severability. – If any provision of this chapter or its application to any person orcircumstance is held to be invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, thatinvalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of this chapterthat can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and tothat end, the provisions of this chapter are declared to be severable.
