   § 28-5-14  Educational program. – In order to eliminate prejudice among the various ethnic groups in this stateand to further good will among those groups, the commission and the statedepartment of elementary and secondary education are jointly directed toprepare a comprehensive educational program, designed for the students of thepublic schools of this state and for all other residents of the state,calculated to emphasize the origin of prejudice based on race or color,religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability,age or country of ancestral origin, its harmful effects, and itsincompatibility with American principles of equality and fair play.
