SECTION 28-6.1-4

   § 28-6.1-4  "Lie detector test" defined.– As used in this chapter the term "lie detector test" means any test utilizing apolygraph or any other device, mechanism, instrument, or written examinationwhich is operated or the results of which are used or interpreted by anexaminer for the purpose of purporting to assist in or enable the detection ofdeception, the verification of truthfulness, or the rendering of a diagnosticopinion regarding the honesty of an individual.
