SECTION 28-7-17

   § 28-7-17  Eligibility to participate inelections – Place and supervision of elections. – The board shall have the power to determine who may participate in the electionand to establish the rules governing the election; provided, that no electionshall be directed by the board solely because of the request of an employer orof employees prompted to do so by their employer, nor shall any individualsemployed only for the duration of a strike or lockout be eligible to vote inthe election; and provided, further, that no election shall be conducted underthe employer's supervision, or, except as may be required by the board, on theemployer's property, during working hours, or with his or her participation orassistance.
