SECTION 29-5-4

   § 29-5-4  Appropriations. – An interstate library district lying partly within this state may claim and beentitled to receive state aid in support of any of its functions to the sameextent and in the same manner as these functions are eligible for support whencarried on by entities wholly within this state. For the purposes of computingand apportioning state aid to interstate library districts hereinafter to becreated, this state will consider that portion of the area which lies withinthis state as an independent entity for the performance of the aided functionor functions and compute and apportion the aid accordingly. Subject to anyapplicable laws of this state, the district also may apply for and be entitledto receive any federal aid for which it may be eligible.
