SECTION 30-11-9

   § 30-11-9  Penalty – Surety for costs.– Any person found guilty of a misdemeanor as provided for in §§30-11-2 and 30-11-6 shall upon conviction be sentenced to a fine of not morethan five hundred dollars ($500) or to confinement for not more than one yearor both. Any person making a complaint for the violation of the provisions of§§ 30-11-2 – 30-11-8 shall not be required to give surety forcosts.
