SECTION 30-13-10

   § 30-13-10  Restraint of persons chargedwith offenses. – Any person subject to this code charged with an offense under this code shallbe ordered into arrest or confinement, as circumstances may require; but whencharged only with an offense normally tried by a summary court-martial, thatperson shall not ordinarily be placed in confinement. When any person subjectto this code is placed in arrest or confinement prior to trial, immediate stepsshall be taken to inform that person of the specific wrong of which he or sheis accused and to try that person or to dismiss the charges and release him orher.
