§ 30-15.2-2 - Validity of acts performed at emergency location.

SECTION 30-15.2-2

   § 30-15.2-2  Validity of acts performed atemergency location. – During the period when the public business is being conducted at the emergencytemporary location, or locations, the governing body and other officers of apolitical subdivision of this state shall have and possess and shall exercise,at that location, or locations, all of the executive, legislative, and judicialpowers and functions conferred upon the body and officers by or under the lawsof this state. These powers and functions may be exercised in the light of theexigencies of the emergency situation without regard to or compliance withtime-consuming procedures and formalities prescribed by law and pertainingthereto, and all acts of the body and officers shall be as valid and binding asif performed within the territorial limits of their political subdivision.
