SECTION 30-24-5

   § 30-24-5  Functions of advisory council.[Effective until July 1, 2010.]. – The advisory council for veterans' affairs shall exercise and perform all theduties and functions formerly exercised and performed by the advisory councilfor the Rhode Island veterans' home. The advisory council for the Rhode Islandveterans' home is hereby abolished. The advisory council for veterans' affairsshall make suggestions to and shall advise the director of human services andthe commandant of the veterans' home concerning the policies, rules, and theregulations of the Rhode Island veterans' home; provided, however, that theadvisory council shall have no administrative power.
