SECTION 30-25-7

   § 30-25-7  Veterans dying in stateinstitutions. – Nothing contained in this chapter shall be construed to require the citytreasurer of the city of Cranston to pay any money to meet the funeral expensesof, or the erection of any headstone for, any person who shall have died at anyof the state institutions in Cranston, unless admitted or committed from thatcity; but the treasurer of the town or city from which the person was admitted,or from which he or she has been committed, shall be liable for and shall paythe funeral expenses as provided in this chapter.
