§ 31-1-25 - Crosswalk. - Rhode Island Statutes

SECTION 31-1-25

   § 31-1-25  Crosswalk. – "Crosswalk" means:

   (1) That part of a roadway at an intersection included withinthe connections of the lateral lines of the sidewalks on opposite sides of thehighway measured from the curbs, or in the absence of curbs, from the edges ofthe traversable roadway; or

   (2) Any portion of a roadway at an intersection or elsewheredistinctly indicated for pedestrian crossing by lines or other markings on thesurface.
