SECTION 31-10.3-26

   § 31-10.3-26  License to be carried andexhibited on demand. – Every licensee shall have his or her commercial license or permit in his or herimmediate possession at all times when operating a motor vehicle and shalldisplay the license or permit upon demand of any peace officer or officer ofthe division of motor vehicles, and shall, upon request by any proper officer,write his or her name in the presence of that officer for the purpose of beingidentified.
