SECTION 31-10.3-36

   § 31-10.3-36  Manufacture of commerciallicense – Unauthorized. – (a) It shall be a felony for any person:

   (1) To photograph, photostat, duplicate, or in any wayreproduce any driver's license or facsimile of a license in any manner that itcould be mistaken for a valid license;

   (2) To issue, sell, or cause to be sold a commercial licenseor facsimile of a license unless sold in compliance with the provision of thischapter, and unless authorized to do so by the administrator.

   (b) Any person violating subsection (a) of this section shallbe punished by imprisonment for not less than one year nor more than five (5)years, and there may be imposed an additional fine of not less than fivehundred dollars ($500) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000), andsuspension of license or privileges for a period of not less than one year normore than five (5) years, or a period of suspension commensurate with thesentence imposed.
