SECTION 31-10-13

   § 31-10-13  Record from other jurisdiction.– (a) Whenever an application is received from a person previously licensed inanother jurisdiction, the division of motor vehicles may request a copy of theoperator's record from that other jurisdiction. When received, the operator'srecord shall become a part of the operator's record in this state with the sameforce and effect as though entered on the operator's record in this state inthe original instance.

   (b) Whenever the division of motor vehicles receives arequest for an operator's record from another licensing jurisdiction the recordshall be forwarded without charge.
