   § 31-11-23  Inspection of license of personto whom vehicle rented required. – No person shall rent a motor vehicle to another until he or she has inspectedthe operator's or chauffeur's license of the person to whom the vehicle is tobe rented, and compared and verified the signature on it with the signature ofthe person written in his or her presence.
