SECTION 31-15-7

   § 31-15-7  Places where overtakingprohibited. – (a) No vehicle shall at any time be driven to the left side of the roadwayunder the following conditions:

   (1) When approaching the crest of a grade or upon a curve inthe highway where the driver's view is obstructed within such distance as tocreate a hazard in the event another vehicle might approach from the oppositedirection;

   (2) When approaching within one hundred feet (100') of ortraversing any intersection or railroad grade crossing;

   (3) When the view is obstructed upon approaching within onehundred feet (100') of any bridge, viaduct, or tunnel.

   (b) The limitations in subsection (a) of this section shallnot apply upon a one-way roadway.

   (c) Violations of this section are subject to finesenumerated in § 31-41.1-4.
