§ 31-16-7 Signaling of stops. – No person shall stop or suddenly decrease the speed of a vehicle without firstgiving an appropriate signal in the manner described in this chapter to thedriver of any vehicle immediately to the rear when there is opportunity to givethe signal. Violations of this section are subject to fines enumerated in§ 31-41.1-4.
