SECTION 31-18-16.1

   § 31-18-16.1  Failure to stop on red signalfor blind person at intersection. – Any person who shall violate the provisions of § 31-13-6(3)(i) at anintersection where a pedestrian is crossing or attempting to cross a publicstreet or highway guided by a seeing-eye dog or a hearing-ear signal dog,clearly identified by a yellow harness, which has been trained and educated toguide and assist the pedestrian in traveling upon the public streets, orcarrying in a raised or extended position a cane or walking stick which iswhite in color or white tipped with red, shall be fined not less than fivehundred dollars ($500) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000).
