SECTION 31-18-22

   § 31-18-22  Public information andeducation on the rights of pedestrians. – A program of public information and education designed to educate the motoringpublic to the rights of pedestrians shall be developed by the department oftransportation's office on highway safety. The department of transportation'soffice on highway safety, in cooperation with the department of health, shallstudy the effectiveness of the implementation of this section and shall submitto the general assembly a report containing its findings by July 1, 2000.
