SECTION 31-2-13

   § 31-2-13  Report to tax assessors ofvehicles registered. – (a) As soon as practical after January 1 in every year, the division of motorvehicles shall furnish, without charge, to the tax assessors of each city ortown in this state, a statement of the motor vehicles registered from that cityor town on and after January 1 and through the thirty-first day of December ofthe previous year and the inclusive dates of their registration within thisperiod.

   (b) The provisions of this section shall apply in allrespects in the case of taxes assessed upon motor vehicles by any fire district.
