§ 31-2-15 Seizure of documents and plates.– The division of motor vehicles is authorized to take possession of anyregistration card, permit, license, or registration plate issued by it uponexpiration, revocation, cancellation, or suspension, or which is fictitious, orwhich has been unlawfully or erroneously issued.
