SECTION 31-21-1

   § 31-21-1  Stopping on traveled portion ofopen highway prohibited. – Upon any highway outside of a business or residence district, no person shallstop, park, or leave standing any vehicle, whether attended or unattended, uponthe paved or main traveled part of the highway when it is practical to stop,park, or leave the vehicle off that part of the highway. In every event, anunobstructed width of the highway opposite a standing vehicle shall be left forthe free passage of other vehicles, and a clear view of the stopped vehicleshall be available from a distance of two hundred feet (200') in each directionupon the highway.
