§ 31-22-4 - Overloading of vehicles.

SECTION 31-22-4

   § 31-22-4  Overloading of vehicles. –(a) No person shall drive a vehicle when it is so loaded, or when there are inthe front seat such a number of persons, exceeding three (3), as to obstructthe view of the driver to the front or sides of the vehicle or as to interferewith the driver's control over the driving mechanism of the vehicle.

   (b) No passenger in a vehicle shall ride in any position asto interfere with the driver's view ahead or to the sides, or to interfere withthe driver's control over the driving mechanism of the vehicle.

   (c) Violations of this section are subject to finesenumerated in § 31-41.1-4.
