SECTION 31-23.2-9

   § 31-23.2-9  Other laws unaffected. –This chapter does not annul, alter, affect, or exempt any person subject to theprovisions of this chapter from complying with the laws of any state withrespect to the disconnecting, altering, or tampering with odometers with theintent to defraud, except to the extent that those laws are inconsistent withany provision of this chapter, and then only to the extent of the inconsistency.
