SECTION 31-23.3-6

   § 31-23.3-6  Vehicles with existingsunscreening materials. – The owners of all motor vehicles who have sunscreening material in their motorvehicle in violation of the provisions of this chapter may be found inviolation of the provisions of this chapter; provided, an owner of a motorvehicle shall not be required to remove any sunscreening material if thatmaterial was initially installed by the motor vehicle manufacturer and waspurchased prior to December 1, 1993.
