SECTION 31-23-21

   § 31-23-21  Permits for operation ofvehicles having tracks with transverse corrugations. – The department of revenue and local authorities in their respectivejurisdictions may in their discretion issue special permits authorizing theoperation upon a highway of traction engines or tractors having movable trackswith transverse corrugations upon the periphery of the movable tracks or farmtractors or other farm machinery, the operation of which upon a highway wouldotherwise be prohibited under this chapter.
