SECTION 31-23-38

   § 31-23-38  Television receiversprohibited. – (a) No television viewer, screen, or other means of visually receiving atelevision broadcast shall be located in the field of view of the operator ofthe motor vehicle. Any person who drives or causes to be driven any motorvehicle in violation of the provisions of this section shall be punished by afine of not more than one hundred dollars ($100).

   (b) This section does not prohibit the use of an electronicdisplay used exclusively for safety or in conjunction with a vehicle navigationsystem.
