SECTION 31-24-40

   § 31-24-40  Mounting of clearance and sidemarker lamps. – Clearance lamps shall be mounted on the permanent structure of the vehicle insuch a manner as to indicate its extreme width and as near the top of thevehicle as practicable. Clearance lamps and side marker lamps may be mounted incombination, provided illumination is given as required in this section withreference to both. Violations of this section are subject to fines enumeratedin § 31-41.1-4.
