SECTION 31-25-12.1

   § 31-25-12.1  Vehicles to be towed in rightlane. – (a) When a tow truck or other vehicle is towing another vehicle, except thosevehicles designed to be in combination, in this state upon any public highwaydivided into two (2) or more clearly marked lanes for travel in the samedirection, it shall be unlawful to tow except in the right lane of travel on atwo (2) line highway, and in the two (2) right lanes of travel on a highwaywith three (3) or more lanes.

   (b) Any person who violates the provisions of this sectionshall, upon conviction, be fined in accordance with the penalties provided in§ 31-41.1-4.
