SECTION 31-25-26

   § 31-25-26  Prohibition of commercialvehicles by local authorities. – Local authorities with respect to highways under their jurisdiction may, byordinance or resolution, prohibit the operation of trucks or other commercialvehicles, or may impose limitations as to the weight of those vehicles ondesignated highways, which prohibitions and limitations shall be designated byappropriate signs placed on the highways. For the purposes of this section, asuburban vehicle, as defined in § 31-1-3(u), shall not be deemed to be atruck or commercial vehicle.
