SECTION 31-25-9

   § 31-25-9  Prevention of leakage of load.– No vehicles shall be driven or moved on any highway unless the vehicle is soconstructed or loaded as to prevent any of its load from dropping, sifting,leaking, or otherwise escaping from it. However, sand may be dropped for thepurpose of securing traction, or water or another substance may be sprinkled ona roadway in cleaning or maintaining the roadway. Violations of this sectionare subject to fines enumerated in § 31-41.1-4.
