   § 31-27-8  Commercial vehicles –Penalty for excessive hours of driving. – Any person, or the officers of any corporation, company, or association, whoshall violate any provision of §§ 31-27-5 – 31-27-7, shall befined not more than five hundred dollars ($500) or imprisoned not more thansixty (60) days, or both.
