SECTION 31-28-4

   § 31-28-4  Exemption of persons withdisabilities from payment of fees. – No city or town or any agency of a city or town shall exact any fee for parkingon the public highways or in any metered parking space from any person who hasbeen issued a disability parking privilege placard or sticker pursuant to§ 31-28-7, 31-28-7.1 or 31-29-5, nor from the owner of the motor vehicletransporting the person with a disability, provided that upon which vehiclethere is displayed any disability parking placard or sticker that shall beissued by the division of motor vehicles.
