SECTION 31-28-9

   § 31-28-9  Owner's liability for parkingtickets. – Whenever any motor vehicle shall be parked illegally, the owner of the motorvehicle shall be jointly and individually liable with the operator for thepayment of any fines imposed unless the owner of the vehicle has prima facieproof that the vehicle was parked illegally by another person who is not anemployee of the owner. Any district court or municipal court citation for anonmoving violation shall be deemed admitted and defaulted after two (2)notices unanswered by the owner.
