SECTION 31-31-18

   § 31-31-18  Correction of action taken onerroneous information. – Whenever the division of motor vehicles has taken any action or has failed totake any action under this chapter by reason of having received erroneousinformation or by reason of having received no information, then upon receivingcorrect information within one year after the date of an accident, the divisionof motor vehicles shall take appropriate action to carry out the purposes andeffect of this chapter. This provision shall not, however, be deemed to requirethe division of motor vehicles to reevaluate the amount of any deposit requiredunder this chapter.
