SECTION 31-32-25

   § 31-32-25  Notice of cancellation ortermination of certified policy. – When an insurance carrier has certified a motor vehicle liability policy under§ 31-32-21 or 31-32-22, and the certified policy is subsequently cancelledor terminated by the insurance carrier, a notice of cancellation or terminationof the insurance so certified shall be filed, by the insurance carrier, in thedivision of motor vehicles. However, a policy subsequently procured andcertified shall, on the effective date of its certification, terminate theinsurance previously certified with respect to any vehicle designated in bothcertificates.
