SECTION 31-32-31

   § 31-32-31  Application of deposit. –The deposit shall be held by the general treasurer to satisfy, in accordancewith the provisions of this chapter, any execution on a judgment issued againstthe person making the deposit, for damages, including damages for care and lossof services, because of bodily injury to or death of any person, or for damagesbecause of injury to or destruction of property, including the loss of use ofit, resulting from the ownership, maintenance, use, or operation of a vehicleof a type subject to registration under the laws of this state after thedeposit was made. Money or securities so deposited shall not be subject toattachment or execution unless the attachment or execution shall arise out of asuit for damages.
