SECTION 31-33-2

   § 31-33-2  Failure to file accident report.– Failure to report an accident as required in § 31-33-1 shall be punishedby a fine as provided for in § 31-41.1-4, and the division of motorvehicles shall suspend the license of the person failing to make report, or thenonresident's operating privilege of the person, until a report has been filedand for any further period not to exceed thirty (30) days that the division ofmotor vehicles may fix.
