SECTION 31-33-3

   § 31-33-3  Falsification of reports orproof of responsibility. – Any person who gives information required in a report or otherwise as providedfor in § 31-33-1, knowing or having reason to believe that the informationis false, or who shall forge or, without authority, sign any evidence of proofof financial responsibility for the future as required by chapter 32 of thistitle or who files or offers for filing any evidence of proof knowing or havingreason to believe that it is forged or signed without authority, shall be finednot more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) or imprisoned for not more than oneyear, or both.
