SECTION 31-36-8

   § 31-36-8  Declarations under penalty ofperjury. – The oath or affirmation required by the provisions of this chapter or chapter37 of this title as to any report or written statement shall not be required ifthe report or statement to be sworn to contains or is verified by a writtendeclaration that it is made under the penalties of perjury. Whoever signs orissues the report or statement containing or verified by the writtendeclaration shall, if the report or statement is willfully false, be guilty ofperjury.
