§ 31-37-17 - Penalties for violations.

SECTION 31-37-17

   § 31-37-17  Penalties for violations.– Whoever, himself or herself or by his or her agent or servant, violates anyprovision of this chapter, shall be punished by a fine not exceeding onethousand dollars ($1,000). Upon the second finding against any licensee of aviolation, whether by himself or herself or by his or her agent or servant, thedirector may suspend the right of the licensee to engage in the business ofselling motor fuel at retail for a period not exceeding three (3) months. Uponthe third or subsequent finding against any licensee of a violation, whether byhimself or herself or by his or her agent or servant, the director may suspendthe right for a period not exceeding one year.
