   § 31-47-17  Insurance companies. – If there is reason to believe that there has been a noncompliance with any ofthe provisions of this chapter, every insurance company authorized to issueautomobile liability policies shall be required upon request to provide thedivision of motor vehicles with information sufficient to evidence anindividual's compliance with this chapter within ten (10) days of request.
