SECTION 31-47-9.1

   § 31-47-9.1  Penalties – Illegalevidence of financial security. – (a) No person shall knowingly make, sell or otherwise make available anyinvalid or counterfeit evidence of financial security as defined in thischapter. No person shall alter any invalid evidence of financial security tomake it appear valid.

   (b) Any person convicted of a violation of this section shallbe guilty of a felony and shall be punished by a fine of not less than fivehundred dollars ($500), nor more than three thousand dollars ($3,000), orimprisonment of not more than one year, or both.
