§ 31-5.2-4 - Affirmative defenses. - Rhode Island Statutes

SECTION 31-5.2-4

   § 31-5.2-4  Affirmative defenses. –It shall be an affirmative defense to any claim under this section:

   (1) That an alleged nonconformity does not substantiallyimpair the use, market value, or safety of the vehicle; or

   (2) That a nonconformity is the result of abuse, neglect, orunauthorized substantial modification or alteration of the vehicle by theconsumer or lessee.
