SECTION 31-6.1-3

   § 31-6.1-3  Exemptions and changes inmethod of reporting. – The administrator of the division of motor vehicles shall have the power tomake such exemptions from the coverage of the agreement as may be appropriateand to make such changes in methods for the reporting of any informationrequired to be furnished to this state pursuant to the agreement as, in his orher judgment, shall be suitable. Any of those exemptions or changes shall notbe contrary to the purposes set forth in article I of the agreement and shallbe made in order to permit the continuance of uniformity of practice among thecontracting states with respect to buses. Any exemption or change shall be madeby rule or regulation and shall not be effective unless made by the sameprocedure required for other rules and regulations of the department.
