SECTION 31-6-14

   § 31-6-14  Return of rejected orerroneously collected fees. – (a) Whenever any application to the division of motor vehicles is accompaniedby any fee as required by law, and the application is refused or rejected, thefee shall be returned to the applicant.

   (b) Whenever the division of motor vehicles, through errorcollects any fee not required to be paid the fee shall be refunded to theperson paying it upon application made within one year after the date of thepayment. The one year period for refund may be extended at the discretion ofthe administrator of the division of motor vehicles.
